This course addresses the legal and compliance responsibilities of real estate licensees who manage rental properties while holding a professional license. Topics include marketing and advertising requirements, Fair Housing obligations applicable to licensed agents, agency and disclosure requirements, and accounting restrictions, including commingling rules. Agents will also review best practices for inspections, lawful entry, lease renewals, security deposit handling, and property turnovers. The course emphasizes risk reduction and compliance with Utah Division of Real Estate rules and federal law.
